The latest endeavor of Sequel Events is a unique fundraising event, Galentine’s Day – Starry Night, a Fundraiser for Matthew’s House. This is a black-tie, women-only affair that is coming to the Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford on February 13, 2018. The event is intended to give women of influence an opportunity to support a charity right in their community. The goal of the event is to raise $10,000 for Matthew’s House.

Matthew’s House supports families by providing quality care for children
who live with complex care needs. Sequel Events has been moved by
the stories of how valuable this care is to the familes who need it.
Galentine’s Day will include inspiring speakers including:
- Tara Teng – Miss World Canada 2012, who now works as a Birth Doula and a Human Rights Activist
- Jenna Liesch – Pastor’s Wife, Stay-At-Home Mom, whom blogs about her family’s life including their incredible journey with their youngest child who as born prematurely.
- Laura Ullock – Who serves as the Resource Development Assistant to Matthew’s House
- Emcees Jody Belanger and Kyla Getty – The Editors of I Like Her Style Vancouver, a media movement to celebrate and inspire dynamic women living in the Lower Mainland.
The event will also include quality wine and appetizers, live music, a silent auction, and a mini-fashion show put on by Below-the-Belt.
